DASH KRUCK

Dash Kruck is a seasoned Actor, Director, Vocalist and Teacher. His previous theatre credits include A TRIBUTE OF SORTS, ELIZABETH: ALMOST BY CHANCE A WOMAN and THE WORKS (Queensland Theatre Company), A TRIBUTE OF SORTS (Monsters Appear/La Boite), JOY FEAR AND POETRY (Natasha Budd/ La Boite), the roles of Moritz in SPRING AWAKENING and Hunter in [TITLE OF SHOW] (Oscar Theatre Company), Judas in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Gold Coast Arts Centre), SPAMALOT, DANI GIRL, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH and ALADDIN AND THE MYSTERIOUS MAGICAL LAMP (Harvest Rain), Sven Swenson's THE BITTERLING (Pentimento/LaBoite Indie), the title role in the national touring production of AMADEUS (4MBS), THE AMAZING MAGICIAN (Queensland Ballet), THE NIGHT MY BROTHER AND ME (Little Big/LaBoite), national tours of BRAVE HEARTS, VERBAL COMBAT and CHEAP THRILLS (Brainstorm Productions), THE FORTITUDE PROJECT (QLD Arts Council), JUMP TO IT and TOTALLY AMAZING (Perform), Romeo in ROMEO AND JULIET (QLD Shakespeare Festival), Algernon in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST (Starlight) and four separate productions of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (QLD Symphony Orchestra, Harvest Rain and Power of Will) which he also directed for Starlight. Dash has been honoured with 2 Matilda Awards (Best Emerging Artist 2007 & Best Actor 2012), The John Dommett Medal for outstanding industry achievement and 2 Del Arte "Favorite Lead Male" commendations. His film and television credits include 'Radio Pirates', 'Pipsqueaks' (Channel 7). 'Cluck' (Steph Walsh Productions) 'Digger' (Bear Cage) 'K9' (Metalmutt), and 'The Shak' (Channel 9). As a vocalist, Dash performs regularly at cabarets and jazz venues. Dash also works regularly as an acting instructor and director for organisations such as NIDA, QUT, The New York Film Academy and The Actors Conservatory. He is a graduate of QUT. Dash is a proud member of equity.
